Dinosaurs and Man have Lived together.

Establishment paleontology tells us that dinosaurs died out 65 million years ago but in doing so they ignore evidence from history and modern times of living dinosaurs. These are usually dismised as antidotal accounts with no physical evidence. The term antidotal account is used as  a derogatory term to justify the dismissal of eye witness accounts of thing whose existenceone wishes to dismiss. It ignores the fact that much of recorded history is based on eye witness accounts with no physical evidence. Even when some one produces a picture it is dismissed out of hand because pictures can be faked. Maybe if these accounts were taken a little more seriously maybe some physical evidence would be found.

Numerous accounts of living dinosaurs through out history exist but they are not called dinosaurs because the word dinosaur was not invented until 1841. Before thia these animals referrer to as dragons. Today dragons have been relegated to mythology and accounts of them being seen alive in history are dismissed as myths despite the fact that many dragon sightings are part of historical accounts. There are records and artifacts of living dinosaurs from cultures around the world. One example from Ica, Peru is known as the Ica stones. The stones were carved 500-1500 AD and they depict many aspects of life including some that have people with dinosaurs.

Dinosaurs are in the Bible, they are mentions dragons 37 times 6 of which are with known real animals. The book Job also describes an animal called Behemoth in Job 40:15-24 the description of which matches a sauropod dinosaur. It also refers to pterodactyls by the term flying serpents and in both cases with known real animals. Even if you don’t believe the Bible these references are significant because it shows that ancient people saw .

Finally some dinosaurs may still be alive. There have been numerous reports of dinosaurs, pterodactyls and large aquatic reptiles still living today. Most reports come from remote place in Africa, South America, and Asia but these accounts do exist but are never taken seriously enough by establishment paleontology to be followed up on. One example from the Congo is a possible sauropod dinosaur called Mokele Mbembe.

Now there are on this subject both hardcore skeptics dismiss all accounts out of hand and gullible believers that take accept all accounts with out any discretion at all. The best position is to take these accounts seriously enough to look into them, bit also realize that there have been hoaxes and misidentifications. The key is that you need to be open to the possibility but not be gullible at the same time. Claims should be investigated when possible and picture examined with scrutiny. However out right dismissals is just as bad as gullible belief.

Introducing Paleontology

Paleontology is the Science that is the study of prehistoric life from their fossilized remains. It also includes the history of the earth, organisms found in it, and their supposed evolution.

Fossils are the remains of living thing buried and found in rocks. Some are just imprints of the organism left in rocks, these are most often the fossils of invertebrates and plants. Others are the actual mineralized remains of the organism most often these fossils are of vertebrates. Interpreting fossils is a combination of biology and geology because they show the type of organism that left the fossil and how it relates to other organisms. The problem is that this makes the interpretation of fossils highly dependent on theories of both biology and geology. As a result any theoretical errors in biology and geology will result in errors fossil interpretation.

By studying fossils Paleontology has produced many interesting results however like all historical science the accuracy of those results are highly dependent upon the theories used to produce them. Paleontology is highly dependent on two other fields of science and the accuracy of their theories that is the sciences of Geology and Biology.

Paleontology requires making assumptions about the past which are based in philosophy and rather than science. It needs to be realized that examining the same fossils and rock with a different set of philosophical assumptions will produce different interpretations.

Big Foot a Living Gigantopithecus

Bigfoot or Sasquatch as American Indians call it occasional sightings have occurred right up to the present. It is called Bigfoot from the large foot prints the leave behind but based on the description it is most likely a larger ape.

The most famous Bigfoot footage is the Patterson Film. This film was taken by Roger Patterson and Robert Gimlin in 1967 the approximate range to the Bigfoot is about 100 feet. There are those are claims that this film was a hoax bur even if it is; there many other sightings suggesting that Bigfoot could be a real animal. If this film is genuine then it supports the identification of Sasquatch as being a type of large ape. The Yeti of which has been sighted in the Himalayas of Asia. Also known as the abominable snow man; it leaves the same large prints as Sasquatch.

If they are real then what are they? Is there an animal known to science that could account for both groups of sightings? The answer is yes. They are known only by fragmented fossils found in as Asia but they fit the description perfectly. These anumales are a type of large ape called Gigantopithecus. While most of  its fossils are found in Southeast Asia, the possibility that some migration to North America is not impossible. It would stand at 10 feet and would be a prefect match for Bigfoot. So if Bigfoot is real it is most likely a living Gigantopithecus making it a living fossil.
