Information Universe and the Higgs field III

For those of you who are not familiar with Information Universe model (info-verse for short) see the above link for a short description. In needs to be noted that this model is not only consistent with Biblical creation but actually requires that the universe be intelligently designed. This aspect of the model is a natural result of the quantum mechanical conclusion that our universe is fundamentally and information system.    

 

After finding a source that provided a proper explanation of the Higgs field, unlike the flawed ones found at most sites I find that the formula of previous post can not be considered valid since it was based on a flawed idea of the way the Higgs field works. Sorry about that but that is the way science works.

 

That said Higgs field produces a scalar potential around a particle. Zero rest mass particles like photons end up at the bottom because they do not interact with the Higgs field. On the other hand a particle with rest mass interact with the Higgs field placing it higher in the potential and it is the energy of this  potential that gives a particle rest mass. In the info-verse model of this process zero rest mass particles are do not move relative to the Higgs field produced potential around it. A particle with rest mass bounce back and forth with in the Higgs field produced potential around it at the speed of light, It is this motion that keeps the a particle with rest mass from having an observed velocity of the speed of light. The bouncing velocity would be observed to slow as it approaches the speed of light relative to an observer in accordance with the following formula.

v: Particle’s velocity.

c: Speed of light

t: time in planck time.

l: length in planck length.

 

v_H = (1-(v/c)²)^0.5

 

If you are thing king that this resembles the special relativity formula for time dilation and length contraction you are correct because while it was not based on these formulae it is based on the same geometry.  While I have not worked out the details yet this bouncing velocity of a particle within the Higgs field may provide a quantum mechanical explanation of what particles interact with the Higgs field differently. Entanglement Found Between Photons Across Time

As if quantum mechanics could not get any stranger it has be found that quantum entanglement can occur across time. A recently published experiment shows quantum entanglement between a photon and another photon that was destroyed before it ever existed. This shows that the information about this other photon survived its destruction. This is further support for the information universe idea which says that the photon was composed of information and thus while the photon it self was destroyed its underlying information was not.

Information Universe and the Higgs field II

I recently posted some material on Information Universe (info-verse) and the Higgs field. See the above link. In last couple of days I have done some more work in this area and I found a new way of modeling the Higgs field interaction within the info-verse model.

 

In this new info-verse model of the Higgs field interaction on near plank scales of space and time particles end up having two types of motion, rest and moving at the speed of light. When the Higgs field interaction is active it holds the particle at rest, when inactive the particle moves at the speed of light. A particle’s Higgs field interaction has a velocity dependent wave function (not to be confused for its quantum wave function) that causes the Higgs interaction strength to vary with time. As a result in any given plank time where the Higgs interaction strength reaches zero the particle goes to the next plank length, other wise it stays where it is.  

 

In this model of the Higgs field interaction, photons and other massless particles have a Higgs field interaction wave time of two plank times. For particles with rest mass the Higgs field interaction wave time gets longer being infinite when the particle is at rest. The particular model only works in quantized space of the info-verse model and it has resulted in the models first unique formula derived from the model.

H: Particle’s Higgs interaction strength.

v: Particle’s velocity.

c: Speed of light

t: time in plank time.

p: pi = 3.14159…

 

H = H₀ cos[p t(v/c)]

 

This only describes how the Higgs field interaction handles motion and not mass however it a new milestone in my development of this theory of everything.

Mars Science Laboratory on Mars Update VI

The Mars Science Laboratory Curiosity has found evidence of past water near its landing site. It continues to provide new support the catastrophic theory of Martian Geology. What was found is bedrock consisting of gravel in sandy cement type matrix. Based on their uniformitarian mind set, geologists at JPL have referred to this as resulting from a flowing stream even pointing to a small in flow channel in the northern wall of the Gale Crater however it is too small to account for all of the relevant evidence. The discovery is totally catastrophic Martian Geology and specifically the theory that Gale Crater was flooded shortly after the impact by underground water. Hence this new data is further support for my young Mars geological model.

Information Universe and the Higgs field

While I am not the only one to propose such a thing, to best of my knowledge I have taken it further than any one else. I am mostly likely the first examine the idea from a creationist perspective. My approach to the concept that I call the Information Universe or Info-verse for short is base on Robert Herrmann’s General Intelligent Design and it is a specific interpretation of GID.

Science Declares Our Universe IS Intelligently Designed

 

I first started thinking developing the Info-verse after realizing that the best way to explain certain aspects of reality is if it is a calculate information system. I have since found as a result of studying the double-slit experiment in Quantum Mechanics that it is really the only way of explaining all of the observations. Info-verse has also produced a novel version of quantum gravity in that it does not involve a graviton, but instead space and time are actually quantized with the fundamental units of plank length and plunk time. This model is consistent with Biblical creation particularly since it is easy to show how God could have created the universe from nothing but his own thoughts just a few thousand years ago.

 

The resent reported initial conformation of the existence of the Higgs particle started a study of the Higgs field and its implications for the Info-verse model. It turns out that Higgs field concept actually solves a problem I have been having in dealing with sunlight motion in quantized space-time. Since the speed of light is 1 plank length / plunk time.  This explains why speed of light has to be the upper speed limit of the universe since it is the fastest an object can go through space in a continuous manner, that us not skipping over parts of space.  However traveling slower than light requires staying is the same plank length for more than one plunk time, the problem was that I had no mechanism to regulate this process, however the Higgs field concept provides that mechanism.

 

In the Higgs field concept all particles naturally travel at the speed of light and would have 0 rest mass. However particles that have rest mass interact with this field such that they bounce back and forth with in the field slowing them down. Apply this to the Info-verse model the 1 plank length / plunk time speed would be the natural speed of a particle moving from one plank length to the next but the Higgs interaction causes particle with rest mass to  bounce between two plank length until it moves on to the next according to its velocity.

 

This shows how good the Info-verse model is in that it fits existing concepts in physics so naturally.

Now with regards to parallel universes, since the Info-verse depicts our universe as information system, parallel universes could exist that are other information system universes running along side ours that could include such places mentioned the Bible such the heaven and hell. The Info-verse allows of parallel universes in the same way that I can run more than one program on my computer, or on multiple computers for that matter. It also allows for one’s conscious mind to go between parallel universes by way of transferring information input from one to the other. Even physical bodies to go between parallel universes by way of information transfer. This is also a perfect fit to life after death since our minds are more than the processes with in our brains.

Nuclear Physics



 

Nuclear physics is the  study of the atomic nucleus. Nuclear physics deals mainly with the neutrons and protons makeup the nucleus and their interactions. The atomic nucleus is a relatively small dense positively charged mass at the center of an atom. It consists of positively charged protons and neutrally charged neutrons. These particles are bound together within the nucleus by residual strong nuclear force between protons and neutrons.

 The atomic nucleus is the densest part of the atom and it determines the element of each atom. The element is determined by the number of protons in the nucleus called the atomic number and its unique to each element. Meanwile the number of neutrons vary in what are called isotopes.

 Isotopes are the varieties of atoms within the same element distinguished by the number of neutrons in the nucleus and each isotope has its own set of unique properties. The particle number is number of protons and neutrons in the nucleus. The atomic weight is the mass of the isotope in atomic mass units. Another property of isotopes is its half-life is the amount time required for half of a radiometric isotope to decay. Further more a stable isotope has an infinite half-life.

 

The Strong Nuclear Force is the fundamental force of nature responsible for binding together the atomic nucleus. Gluons are the appropriately named particle that transmits the strong force, Gluons go back and forth between the quarks binding them togetherinto Proton and Neutron and other particles.  

The gluons binding up and down quarks into protons and neutrons also hold can decay to form a pion. This pion helps transmit a residual part of the strong force between the protons and neutrons in what is called the residual strong force or just the nuclear force.

 The Weak Nuclear Force is the fundamental force of nature that causes for several types of particle decay, It is specifically responsible for the beta decay of atomic nuclei. Negative Bata decay occurs when a neutron is turned into a proton emitting an electron an electron anti-neutrino in the process. 

 

Nuclear decay is event where an unstable atomic nucleus loses energy by the process of emitting an ionizing particle causing a net loss in the mass to the nucleus. 

There are two main forms nuclear decay ones found in nature, Alpha decay and Negative Beta decay.  In alpha decay the nucleus ejects a helium atomic nucleus called an alpha particle reducing the atomic number of atom by 2 changing the element. When negative Beta decay occurs a neutron emits a negatively charged electron called a beta particle and an electron anti-neutrino turning it into a proton and increasing the atomic number of the nucleus by one.

Collections of radioactive nuclei have a characteristic decay rate usually designated by the isotope's half-life. That is the time it takes half of the amount of the isotope to decay. The half-life is independent of the amount of the isotope present because the more atoms of the isotope there are the more nuclei that will decay in a given unit of time.

 

 Nuclear decay is often used in determining the age of a sample however there are assumptions involved in the process. It is especially assumed that the half-life of an  isotope is constant. Accelerated Nuclear Decay is the process by which nuclear decay proceeds at a faster than normal rate. Now small amounts of accelerated nuclear decay have been observed in Beta-decay under some circumstances, while accelerated alpha decay has never been directly observed evidence for it exists in the retention of radiogenic helium by zircon crystals. The main arguments against the hypothesis that the retention of radiogenic helium by zircon crystals shows substantial accelerated alpha decay is heat and the lack of an observed cause of accelerated alpha decay. However there are theoretical answers to both. The real reason for resistance to the hypothesis that the retention of radiogenic helium by zircon crystals shows substantial accelerated alpha decay is the fact that it would drastically reduce radiometric ages. However none of these arguments change the fact that measured helium diffusion rates in zircon crystals are a perfect match to a model showing accelerated alpha decay about six thousand years ago.
